Okay, so, I am heading back to Boston today, to the land of uncertain computers! HP is supposed to be sending me parts that will make my laptop better, and they have shipped and I hold out some tiny hope they will actually be there when I get home. But who knows! And, of course, there is the terrifying possibility that these parts will not cure my laptop.

What I am saying is that, ideally, my drabble posting will be in no way affected and life will continue on swimmingly, but I really have no idea. Yay uncertainty!

Well, uh! It would appear that my laptop has stopped recognizing that it is plugged in. And has run out of batteries and died. I'm using my brother's computer for now, but clearly cannot do that for long, being as it is his. So, until such time as my computer works again, there will be no posting of holiday drabbles. Okay guys, here's the deal.

On FRIDAY (the 18th), I am taking the GRE. I have not studied sufficiently for this! Like, not AT ALL. To be honest. And being as this concerns my future and costs money, it's kind of a big deal! It also (due to me being a dumbass) totally snuck up on me, and I pretty much have three nights to attempt to become smart enough to get into grad school.

My plan was to write as many drabbles as I could tonight and post whatever I ended up with, but we had our holiday party at work, so I mostly drank and made poor choices.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR YOU? Pretty much, I'm not posting drabbles until at least Saturday, December 19th! Seriously, I love you guys, and I love writing these drabbles, but the simple truth is that the GRE is more important. On the bright side! That means you'll get MORE drabbles for the end of the month! So, yeah. It's possible I'll write some random shit to give myself a break from studying, but I'm not going to try to make myself make deadlines until after the test is done. Enjoy the resuming of drabble posting sometime this weekend.
